I am a Baltimore-based photographer focusing on interiors, editorial, and fine art photography.I began my career as a full-time wedding, event, and portrait photographer, working closely with clients to capture meaningful, human moments with clarity and care. After stepping back to stay home with my kids (I have three boys!) and finish a Master's degree in theology during the early pandemic years, I have since transitioned to more commercial and editorial based work, including interiors, architecture, and my own fine art projects.

OCEAN HOUSE explores themes of travel, the ocean, and technology within the context of a modern-day cruise ship. It is a kaleidoscope of color, light, and shadow, set against a canvas of both dense crowds and empty spaces.
Here, enjoyment of the ocean collides with the ubiquity of security cameras; crowded pools exist alongside rows of vacant chairs. The cruise ship symbolizes both the triumph of technology over chaos and the phenomenon of modern, curated travel. Whereas the seas once represented the unpredictable power of evil, chaos, or the gods in Israelite and Greco-Roman literature, today the ocean has become a resource to be mined or a destination to be enjoyed (as Richard Powers' portrays in his novel Playground, for example).
OCEAN HOUSE is an attempt to hold these tensions together, and invitaiton to consider humanity's ever-evolving relationship with the ocean and technology, especially in the context of travel and leisure.
